We care about our environment and our communities.  We only use the most Eco-Friendly pest control, extermination and rodent removal practices available.  We believe in protecting our environment so strongly that we willingly pay more for higher quality and environmentally friendly supplies.  We also protect our environment by doing the extra work each situation may require in order for us to ensure that we are protecting the areas we work and live in.

More about “Green” Pest Control:
By John Read, Owner of Advanced Green Pest Solutions

“Natural” is an abused word and often leads one to believe that because something is natural it is better or that it can not harm someone. We must remember that petroleum, Natural Gas, Sulfur and cyanide are natural but we would not want to consume or inhale these substances. All that natural means is it is not man made or something is man made using a combination of non synthetic materials. It is best to read labels, ask questions and get a M.S.D.S. (Material Safety Data Sheet) for your protection.

Green  is often misrepresented in what it means for a consumer and the label  of green is not regulated so the definition is left to the seller and buyer of a product. In the pest control industry the word green is not represented any better. I will now offer my interpretation of what I feel green should mean. Again this is my opinion and is not meant to be stated or represented as fact.

Green means using sustainable responsible practices that provide a solution to a problem with little to no impact on our planet and its water shed. I recommend using I.P.M. (integrated pest management) This means taking as many preventative steps to solving a problem before the use of chemicals. When chemicals, gases. baits and powders are used the products should have short half life meaning they do not stick around for a long time and they break down quickly in soil without poisoning things the product was not intended for and do not contaminate ground water.
EPA exempt products are a good start. meaning they do not have or are not required to have a EPA registration number. These are products that have been proven to have little to no enviromental impact. These products are typically made of organic materials, Plants spices and botanical oils. or inorganic materials such as salts and dia tamacious earth. The use of these product usually mean a long absence from your home if any is not necessary. Finally green means slow and steady wins the race. green products take longer to work but they usally do a better job and last longer.
